Vanilla Video is a company on the cutting edge of video services and production. As we look to continue growing our company into new markets, we need progressive-minded and creative employees to improve our brand. Vanilla Video was founded on a fresh take to an old idea, and we want to hire people who can keep that spirit alive.
As an Ideation Expert, you will work with the Creative Director, videographers and editors to implement ideas for video projects. You will also work with the Sales Team, Branch Operations Manager, and Social Marketing Manager to produce concepts and products that will continue to drive Vanilla Video into the future.
The Ideation Expert will be responsible for accumulating, enhancing and discovering ideas for new ways of filming, editing, and interacting with customers, and also assist other employees in improving on their ideas. When working with coworkers on an idea, our Ideation Expert must be able to help them develop their own ideas and challenge them to fine-tune their concepts to be the best ones possible.
The Ideation Expert is also expected to come up with and develop his/her own ideas for improvement of the company. Video is a changing industry, and we not only want, but need bright minds who can help us adapt to the future before it arrives.

Position Description
Ideation is a broad term that covers a lot of ground. Specifically, we are looking to add a creative brainstorm expert to our team who is able to asses Vanilla Video’s current capabilities and push us to grow in new ways. The ideal candidate is versed in video production and is a curious, fast learner.

- Experience working as a project/creation manager
- Experience working for/with another creation manager
- Able to work nights and weekends
- Flexible scheduling week to week

Responsibilities & Duties
The responsibilities of the Ideation Expert are wide and varied. You will act as an idea and information gatherer within the company to promote internal growth and consult with employees throughout every department to help them advance concepts. There will be research assignments handed to you by various team members and you will have the opportunity to sit in on, contribute to and often lead brainstorm sessions to discuss things like improving workflows, evolving training practices, building marketing campaigns and developing creative video shoots. You’ll work not only on internal Vanilla Video projects, but also on client materials. It’s important to keep and eye towards to future of the video industry and on competitors to help Vanilla Video achieve and maintain and edge.
