Video Project Description
Swedish Covenant Hospital on Chicago’s North Side is #BreakdingDownWalls to eliminate barriers between women and their health care. Footage from a past event includes speakers, b-roll, and audience members shown while voice overs of different speeches play in the background. At the end of the video, the outro includes a small pan of a flyer which states “This fall we are #BreakingDownWalls for women in healthcare” – serving as a call to action to sign up or learn more about upcoming events and the women’s healthcare initiative.
Event footage can be used in a variety of ways, one of which being the ability to use footage to create a promotional video for upcoming events or in this case, simply to call more attention to the Women’s Healthcare Initiative by Swedish Covenant Hospital. Whenever Vanilla Video shows up to film an event, we always deliver every second of raw footage, including professionally recorded audio files. Whether event planners have a plan in mind or simply want to build their company’s collection of digital assets, editing can always be figured out after the footage is captured. Videos cannot be created without getting the raw footage first, so we always recommend starting with filming an event first and worry about making promo videos and brand films afterwards.
In this sample, Swedish Covenant Hospital used footage from a conference to create a promotional video. These short videos work great anywhere online, whether they are on your website, social media, or even in an e-mail newsletter. Using speakers’ own words, Swedish Covenant Hospital is able to spread their message and their initiative beyond the group of attendees at the conference. Video is a powerful tool that can be used to get a message out to a large group of people instantly. As viewers press play, they learn more about why women face issues when looking for quality healthcare and what Swedish Covenant Hospital plans to do to eliminate these problems for all women.
