Video Project Description
Vanilla Video created this highlight reel out of a multi-day split coverage shoot at a business conference. Our videographers captured a variety of footage including attendee interviews and testimonials, breakout sessions, expert panels, keynote speakers, networking sessions, reception and b-roll footage of various locations involved in the conference. Highlight reels like this one are a great way to showcase an event and share just about anywhere online.
Interviews of attendees inform the audience about the conference. They talk about the benefit of attending the Symposium, emphasizing all of the networking opportunities they found as well as the information they learned from experts in the world of Labor and Employment law and the human resource profession. Interviewees spoke highly of the event mentioning networking opportunities, exchanging new ideas, listening to leading experts in global human resource law, learning about data breaches and protecting the safety of employee data, international labor agreements, human resource best practices and procedures. When advertising for future events, the event planning committee is prepared with a list of benefits straight from real attendees. Video gives marketers living proof of an event’s effectiveness and it can be used on a variety of platforms.
Event coverage is a great way to build any company’s digital video assets. Footage of attendee or customer testimonials can always be used in future videos, especially when it comes to customer appreciation events where attendees are given the opportunity to explain why they benefit from working with a particular company. Event videography is also a great tool for event planners – not only to promote the event online, but to learn about what went well, to what they could improve in the future. While interview feedback typically involves positive opinions from attendees – video footage allows event planners to take a closer look at attendee’s reactions to speakers, networking events, and venues.
Ius Laboris used this video to highlight the event on social media, and continues to display it on their website today. A video like this works well as an advertisement for similar events in the future, and raw footage can be edited in a variety of ways to be used multiple times. Less interested in capturing actual speeches and informational sessions, Vanilla Video focused on highlighting the atmosphere of the event as well as the positive experience of the interviewees.
