Video Project Description
Event highlights featuring speakers and award recipients at OncLive’s Giants of Cancer Care™ Awards Ceremony. Raw footage and full audio captured throughout the duration of the event edited together to create a highlight reel. This video captures the energy of award recipients and attendees alike.
B-Roll footage of the Chicago river and skyline, event set-up and layout, and opening remarks set the scene for the event's highlight montage. Editors combined a trio of footage, significant pieces from speeches, as well as a lively beat to create a montage of memorable moments throughout the event.
OncLive’s Giants of Cancer Care™ Awards Ceremony celebrated the accomplishments of several leaders in oncology, specifically women’s gynecological cancers. A dynamic event on a spring evening in Chicago, attendees gathered to honor award recipients for their contributions in technological advances in healthcare, cancer research, as well as commitment and dedication to their patients.
This is just an example of how event footage can be used in a variety of ways for video content marketing purposes. Sizzle reels showcase special moments shortly after the event on social media. Entire montages tell the story of the event from beginning to end can be used for advertising and marketing for next years’ event. Speakers and guests can use the video on their own social media profiles and platforms – building connections both on and offline.
Shorter Vanilla Clips can be used on social media to capture attention to showcase highlights of a past event, and use it to advertise for the future. Use footage all year long in communication to potential and RSVP’d attendees to get them excited for upcoming events. Videos like these make great material for marketing and beyond. Event highlights can be used by future event planners and even attract potential job applicants.
Raw footage from any video can always be editing and mixed-in with other visual media in the future. Filming as much as possible is always highly recommended, not only to remember a special event but for material to use for future content marketing purposes. Building a collection of dynamic footage allows for a breadth of content without the need for filming new videos.
