Video Project Description
This wedding montage starts with a shot of the bride moments before the wedding blended together with a message to the bride from the groom, “I’m so excited to marry you in a couple of hours.” We can see footage of the bride and groom getting ready with the bridal party followed by the first look. As the bride and groom walk to the ceremony, a voiceover of their self-written vows begins. They promise to be encouraging to each other, throughout all of life’s ups and downs. “I have waited for this day my whole entire life,” the bride says, concluding the vows. The officiant announces them as husband and wife, and the party begins.
Footage of the reception begins with b-roll of the venue, showing every detail of the beautiful decorations. The groom starts off the night with a speech, followed by speeches from the maid of honor and groom. Audio from the speeches is used in the form of voice overs behind footage of the wedding reception. The wedding videographer got footage of guests dancing and eating, as well as the live band playing. The venue was a large space with a crowd, however we always try to get everyone on film.
After any event, Vanilla Video always provides every second of raw footage while editing can always be done later on after the wedding day has passed. Something many couples opt for when filming their wedding is delaying creating a montage until the first or second anniversary. This allows for plenty of time for the couple to pick their favorite moments out of their wedding video. Additionally, having the opportunity to watch a wedding video in the form of the montage a year after the wedding allows a couple to watch a fresh take on their wedding day.
