Who are you guys?
Vanilla Video is an experimental videography business model created by Corey Olson and Frank Romano. We believe the world needs a better videography service, one that's vanilla-style and can deliver a great product at an affordable price.
Can I trust Vanilla Video?
Absolutely. Our reputation is everything and we want to prove to you our service works and is exactly what you need at your next event. We want to satisfy and go beyond your expectations so you tell your friends about our awesome service!
What's the best way to talk?
We read our email every day, even non-business days. If you’re looking for a quick response, email is the best way to go. If you just want to comment you can still email us or talk to us on our Facebook and Twitter.
What's your cancellation policy?
You can cancel service up-to 72 hours before your confirmed film date without penalty, but remember your 10% down payment is non-refundable since we reserved our video professional for your scheduled time. If you cancel within 72-hours of your film date you will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee (in addition to the non-refundable 10% down payment.)
We really don't like charging fees for cancellations, but we commit resources to you and your scheduled event. This prevents other customers from scheduling our video professionals during that time. Please, try to plan ahead and let us know about changes to your schedule and event.
What's your refund policy?
Vanilla Video requires a non-refundable 10% down payment within 7 days of confirming your order. We cannot issue refunds once our videographers have initiated your order. In other words, once one of our professionals arrives at the film location we cannot refund any amount.
Why is Vanilla Video so cheap?
We don’t make elaborate video montages. Our service is focused on providing vanilla-style videography which means capturing the video professionally and cutting the best moments into short, shareable clips.
Seriously why is Vv so inexpensive?
We are different than other videography providers. Our service is for people who want a vanilla-style video of their event that they can edit later, and for those who just want to share short clips of their events with others!
Can we do a meeting or phone call?
We generally don't do meetings, but if you'd like we'll be happy to talk on the phone!
What if I'm unhappy with service?
You should talk to us, and let us know about your experience and why you're unhappy with our service. We'll try to be as accommodating as we can; we're understanding and want to earn your business.
What types of events does Vv film?
We film any event you can think of! We're videographers for hire, and we make professional-grade, vanilla-style video regardless of the event type! If it's a less common request we may ask additional questions before the film date!
Do you film more than events?
Yes! We can help you with your video blogs, business/founder messages, and many other video applications that vanilla-style video applies to!
Does Vanilla Video do HD?
Of course we do, and we don't charge extra. We're professionals and we shoot in 720p or higher!
How does Vanilla Video deliver video?
We let you download it right away, as soon as it's available!
Can you send me DVD/Blu-Rays?
We can send you DVD/Blu-Ray copies for a small fee plus shipping. We let you download your videos for free.
What is vanilla-style videography?
Vanilla-style video is professionally filmed video with great sound! Vanilla means no editing except to cut the best scenes into shareable clips!
How quickly do I get my video?
Within 1-5 business days, which is unmatched in the industry. Vanilla Video has the fastest turnaround time of any videography service!
